There is nothing quite like the piano...
Glory Coleman is an experienced musician who completed ten years of rigorous classical training and state competitions. This experience, especially at a young age, was one of the most formative parts of her life. Now, Glory aims to share the love of music that she found so long ago. While she does not like to be considered an individual performer, taking piano lessons pushed her out of her comfort zone, building her confidence and skills in a new way that continued to apply to many areas of her life. After earning her B.A. in Primary Education, Glory is further equipped to share the passion of music, with a greater knowledge and understanding of childhood development and pedagogy.
Coleman Piano Studio is a collection of students, both children and adults, who are learning a new language - the language of music. Glory is seeking students who are dedicated to mastering a new set of skills that will last a lifetime. Learning to play the piano is more than playing an instrument; it is a vessel of self-expression and a regulator of emotions. When there are no words to describe how you feel, music communicates those unformed words and feelings, ultimately providing a sense of catharsis. Having experienced this for herself, Glory longs to share this seemingly magical gift with whoever is willing to try something new.
